Strange Beginnings
Flair Fair is organized by the powers that be at Strange Ways, a local New Haven retail store and online shop that curates unique items focusing on smaller statement pieces—like pins and patches. Working with independent designers and artists allows a constantly rotating selection of new and fresh product to help you express your individual style.
The idea for a vendor fair came about organically from inviting creatives to the Strange Ways storefront for pop-up shops, markets, and after hours events. The yearning for something larger to help establish and celebrate this sense of community in New Haven and beyond laid the seed for a larger event.
Style magazines and blogs like GQ, StyleCaster, Refinery29, and Seventeen Magazine have featured Strange Ways and the items the shop carries. It's been exciting to bring more of these of unique products to the public at Flair Fair!
The Strange Ways storefront is located right next to Flair Fair.
It will be open to help you continue the flair festivities!
